NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION DISTRICTS: PATHWAYS TO PROSPERITY ALONG THE FAIRMOUNT INDIGO CORRIDOR, A GUIDE TO INCENTIVES FOR ADVANCING ECONOMIC GROWTH

study December 1, 2013

TACC initiated this 33-page paper to analyze the feasibility of implementing four neighborhood revitalization districts along the Fairmount Line Corridor in Boston, MA. The paper presents the concept of neighborhood revitalization districts and explains how the districts address underlying economic issues rather than focusing on one specific problem. The paper includes the projected number of businesses attracted and retained as well as the number of jobs created; economic benefits are forecasted within the first two to three years of implementation.
