Black Owned Restaurants in Nubian Square

Posted by TACC on July 14, 2020

With Governor Charlie Baker implementing Phase 3 of ‘Reopening Massachusetts’ into motion early last week, we must continue to support all businesses in our community, especially Black owned businesses! There are a multitude of Black owned businesses and restaurants in Boston, many of which can be found within Nubian Square. Nubian Square is known for embracing its African American culture and traditions; look no further to Suya Joint to enjoy popular African meals, such as Jollof Rice or Beef Fufu. Silver Slipper offers homestyle breakfast entrees and tasty lunch options in the heart of Nubian Square. Come by Soleil for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, featuring an exquisite menu of Southern styled meals! Or visit Fasika Cafe on the corner of Shawmut Ave and Malcolm X Boulevard to enjoy a fresh dish of Ethiopian cuisine!
