Boston Focus Group Dialogue on Earth’s Future: Day 2

Session 2: Sunday, June 11: 10am-2pm

Discussions about our earth’s future often involve experts and advocates but not everyday people. This focus group dialogue is about everyday people—people of diverse age, race/ethnicity, gender, education, income, and occupations.

Join us in Boston’s Nubian Square for a facilitated focus group dialogue to share your views about the future direction of our planet. You will meet fellow members of the community, learn about proposed changes, and engage in thoughtful dialogue with each other. Participant input will be used to inform national public dialogues on designing solutions for Earth’s future.

NO prior knowledge is required and there are no incorrect answers – every viewpoint is welcome! Participants who complete both sessions will receive a $150 American Express gift card for their time.

To participate, applicants MUST:

• Be 18 years old or older
• Commit to complete both Session 1 and Session 2. (ONLY participants who attend both sessions will receive compensation after completion of the second session)

In order to ensure a range of experiences and views among our participant group, we will be inviting 15-20 participants who will be selected from the applicant pool based on several factors to ensure a diversity of experiences and views among our participant group.

This focus group dialogue, hosted in collaboration with The American City Coalition, is part of a research study conducted by the Consortium for Science, Policy & Outcomes at Arizona State University, and the Museum of Science, Boston.
